Situation: Ippen Digital’s 75 German daily newspapers had inconsistent technical and editorial SEO practice relative to their potential reach.

Approach: As Senior In-House SEO for seven years, responsible for technical and editorial SEO across all titles (incl. Merkur, tz, HNA, Frankfurter Rundschau) - evolved the in-house CMS around SEO criteria and trained 100+ online editors.

Result: Per IVW data (05/2013-02/2021), Merkur.de grew from 5.0M to 89.7M monthly visits (≈ ×18); tz from 6.6M to 52.7M (≈ ×8). At its peak the network reached roughly 250M visitors/month; one article hit about 6M views - still a record for the newsroom.

Situation: Sixt wanted to consistently grow international search visibility across many countries and languages without individual market sites cannibalizing each other.

Approach: As Head of SEO, led a 12-person team responsible for SEO across 12 core and 85 franchise countries - built country-specific keyword and link strategies and launched international Sixt blogs per market.

Situation: O2 needed short-term SEO leadership capacity across the O2, Blau and Curved brands, with several external agencies working in parallel without shared guidelines or reporting.
